Fill-in Forms Instructions Tax Court forms can be filled-in and printed directly from Adobe Reader 3.0 (or later). However, the information entered on a form cannot be saved to disk unless you are using the full Adobe Acrobat software suite. Clicking on a form link will launch the Adobe Reader plug-in and display the form within your browser window. You may also wish to download the form directly to your disk to fill in at a later time. To do so, right-click on the form link and select “Save Target As...” (Internet Explorer) or “Save Link As...” (Netscape Navigator) to save the form file to disk. Filling-in the Form:
eFiling a Fillable Form: Practitioners who register for Practitioner Access and consent to receive electronic service are eligible to electronically file (eFile) the following fillable forms: "Entry of Appearance", "Notice of Change of Address for Petitioners", and "Subsitution of Counsel". The "Notice of Change of Address" is the only fillable form that petitioners who register for Petitioner Access and consent to receive electronic service are eligible to eFile. Before eFiling a fillable form, you may fill in the form using Adobe Reader or equivalent viewer and then print (rather than save) it to Portable Document Format (PDF) or export it to Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) so that the data is embedded in the document. If you use Adobe Reader, click the print icon on the Acrobat toolbar, and then select Acrobat Distiller or Acrobat PDFWriter from the printer name list. If you submit a PDF form before embedding the data, the Court will receive a blank document and reject it. |
